A little different....

.....hypo FL. king. This guy was produced last year and was the only one to hatch from a clutch from one of my hypo pairs. He also has a severly "fused" tail resulting in a clublike look. Too bad, I think he's got some potential. Enough that I rolled the dice and bred the same two together again this year in hopes of getting some "normal" hatchlings with this color. Kinda gold/copper on straw yellow.

He has great colors! Too bad about the physical deformity though...

Nice pattern on him, how bad is the "club". Hard to tell from the pic. Hope this years clutch goes better for you.

Definately an interesting pattern on this guy - is this something you see a lot or unique to this one. Are patten abnormalities related to incubation temps in kings?

Haven't seen it before in my kings. I dunno. Doubt the pattern is temp related, but cannot be positive. There was a sibling that went nearly full term that looked even more patternless.

I like him! he is so different then my hypo. Very nice. Even with the tail you could breed him. I am pretty sure it is not a genetic deformaty so it would not get passed on. Very cool I want one!
