Vanan, being from BC, you should check out Don Patterson, here on V.I. His are really nice and red like that one. Our female is a Don Patterson and looks really awesome like that one....

I actually have no idea where he comes from ... some dude here in montreal wanted to get rid of it so we took it like 2 years ago and hes doing really great eating like a damn pig and nerver had any problems at all we really love him and you guys have no chance of getting it

we will probably breed him in the next 2 years with our gold female i really hope to see some babys from this one

well actually he changes colors at night in day he is really red and browm on the sides but at nights thats how he looks

My female from Don P. Has a lot of white in her sides too. I never noticed a difference in her colour from day to night though. I'll be sure to start checking though. Great shots guys!

Here is a pic of her when the sun was still up. I did check her later on and she was indeed whiter. Does anyone know what this colour change based on light cycles is called, or why they do it?
