what kind of cage do u guys normaly use for your hot? all glass, make your own, or buy a cage and alter it with better security?

i make my own, with melamine and 1/4" glass front (WITH LOCK).
I put a register in there for ventilation which has 2 layers of very secure tightly woven hardware cloth or screening behind it.

I also make my own cages. I use wood (with sealer) and plexiglass. Some of my cages are front open (small to medium size) since are stackable; and some top open (larger-4ftX3ftX3ft & above).
Like Matt said all cages are lockable and all openings fit with double layer metal mesh. In addition, I fit the cages with a shift compartment/ trapbox which make some routine maintainence easier and less stressful to the snakes.
