Central American Boa

Does anyone have any of these for sale, or do you know anyone who has one for sale? About how much...

And I have a 77 Gallon, would this be good for when he/she is at maximum length?

I actually own a yearling pair and I'm looking to get a second male. Maybe we could find a deal somewhere on a group. They're great snakes. Like miniature red tails. I will look into it. If you need to know anything let me know but they're really easy to care for. They eat a lot though for their size.-Tim.

Sorry, but I think I am misunderstanding. A 77 gallon tank? Minature red tails? Although they do not grow quite as large as B.c.c. or Colombian B.c.i., they are still quite sizeable. I would expect a male to reach 5-6 feet and a female to be at least 7+. For which a 77 gallon would not be large enough in my oppinion. I also don't particularly think they look like B.c.c. ("true red tails" if you like) at all. B.c.c. are light background, usually grey with bright red tail colouration. CA B.c.i. are usually a darker brown back ground with brown to black tail colouration.

Gary D: Mine have a light background with a red tail (although not as red) and are you sure about the 7' females I have never heard of them getting that big and I didn't mean miniture red tails literally. I meant they look like.......and I missed the part about the 77 gal. I do agree it is too small.

Tabastifur,
A 4x2 is a good size for an adult CA Boa. Also, as hip mentioned, classifieds should be kept to the classifieds Check your PM for a CA Boa near you...

Tim and Julie,
I'm in agreement with Gary D. They are usually quite dark with many more busier saddles...a lot of them I find have almost an anery-type appearance (but not really), and attain lengths of 5-7 feet.
