pic of one of my Burm's
Hey Burmese lover's this is my 7? month old Albino Burmese he is abot 5ft long and is eating jumbo rat's right now every 7-10 day's. But a guy i know said he sould be on bigger prey then rat's it would get him good and fat but i just dont think he is ready for anything bigger yet. What is your opinion does he look thin? maybe he is right but i think his size is fine for his age.

He is fine on Jumbo rats. Jumbo rats are a good bit bigger around than his widest girth as it is. I should know I sold him to you. I would only feed him really small bunnies (1-1.5 lbs) and that is pointless cuz a jumbo rat is cheaper and the same size.
Also how on earth do you know how old it is??? I did not know how old it was, and I told you that. It is hard for people to tell you that a snake is too big or too small for its age, when you are only guessing at its age to begin with.

well dru when i had him at a friend's house that has many Burm's he has a Burm about that size and it is around the 7 month age so unless their was something wrong with him when you sold him to me i thing that is a pretty good age to guess at being that if he was any older would he not be a bit bigger? wich i dont think their is anything wrong with him being that he take's food with no problem's and is very active i just posted it because i dissagre with the guy that told me that he should be fatter and like i said i was only guessing at the age for the size that he is but thank's for your reply Dru i am very happy with him and am glad i got him from you

Boa: yeah thats the burm I got off of you. Burmies: I didn't mean any offense, I just don't like questions where the information given is really vague. That burm will be fine on huge rats for at least another 4-5 mnths. I'm happy to hear that he is doing well. Slways remember that fatter is NOT always better. It is much easier to get a snake fat then it is to keep a snake at a healthy weight. Anyone can make a snake fat. It takes experience to make a snake healthy. JMO.
