Here are a couple shots with are new nile/tortoise cages. Plus some of the snake tanks.
The other wall were putting in some wall units.
My nile is so happy to be set back up in a big cage after the moving him, to build the new cages.

hahahaha That reminds me of our house! Always changing and putting up new shelving and then moving it 2 weeks latter. "Where are we going to put the new cage?" etc. Great pics and look at those set ups. Very nice!
hey I just read on your list there that you have red foots. I just got a pair yesterday! They are awsome! Maybe yellows should be next. ohh and hedgehogs the one pet I've always wanted but never had. - Tim.

Tim the torts are great, we just love them. But the yellows do get big up too 2 feet long and over a foot wide. Oh can they eat as well.
As always with growing you need to change things around, the wall units and moving the heaters should do it for this year.
Yes it is quite hot in there as we heat the whole room, it's about 82-87 and day/night can be a bit hotter and colder. For winter cooling just turn down the therm. We also have the mammal house that is a 1 bedroom house(with 3 rooms) with its own kitchen.

In the summer in Kelowna you have more trouble cooling the room then heating it! You have a mammal house? Our reptile room is floor to ceiling. I got some old warehouse racks and cut them so they would fit in a normal 8 ft room. They are disigned to hold thousands of pounds. Great when up but a bi**h to move. Yellow foots are nice though. That would be the max on size for me.

We have the same problem here cooling in the summer, no basking lights until 2-3pm and we open windows as well. The reptile room is east/south facing so gets real hot. we almost don't have to heat in the summer.
When we got are farm a couple years ago I looked for a place with 2 houses on it, and was able to find one. The place was somebodys cabin(mammal house) and when they retired build another house
for full time living in. It is so nice not having to wash animal bowls ect. in the house, keeps everything much cleaner. Even a fridge in there so no more mystery containers in the house freezer, much to my mother-in-laws delight.LOL

Great looking set up.
We have the same problem with our reptile room, so this year we bought an air conditioner just for the room. Last year we had problems with a couple snakes going off food cause they were too hot, won't have that problem this year
