Garter snake exploded

My posts in honor of mayla my friends former butlers garter snake it was about 4 feete long and 5 cm thick. She was deffently power feeding it and in the end it literly spilt open. I's just something to think about if you power feed don't over do it.

So when feeding it .. his belly got so full it split open ... I have a hard time beleiving it ..

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of it by any chance?

I feels real sorry for the snake..

I have a friend who's been into snakes from day one, he had a pair of redtail's and after comeing home from a vacation found that the male had literally blown up it turned out to be a massive parasite infection (according to the vet) it just took in food as normal but could not digest the prey they asumed it just rotted inside the animal causeing gas and a parasite flush which built up until it quit literally blew up .(it took 2 weeks to air the apartment out) and make it liveable.

I don't have a pic of it she had no camara at the time but I think i have a pic of a split open corn from similar reasons I thi nk I still have it. nope I must of got rid of it dang. oh well. It can happen thoe yo. It's happened to peeps who arn't carefull or because of dieses. Sorry I don't have the pic
