Talking Mealie Beetles

Hey guys! LoL I am WAY too excited about this, but I finally have hatched teeny tiny baby mealies :P

Does anyone know how long the beetles live for, and how long it will take the mealies, currently |--| this big, to get
|-------------------------| this big?

Thanks

they're sOOOOOo tiny.....it's crazy....pick out all the beetles, move them to a new place and lave the old substrate...wait a week or two and seeif you see anything! I only have 10 beetles..I'm just starting.

could you guys tell me how you are breeding them??? I have two little plastic cages with mealies, and would like to breed since i have herps that take insects. Ecspecially my tokay which is a pig. Info on breeding would be greatly appreciated.

let them sit and put in vegtables on the top of the substrate ( bran oats what ever works)
keep them warm and they will grow faster i use containers that you cant see through they will pupate over time and then beatles will hatch and breed as i said before the process takes time but is well worth it for back up food alone

it often takes the eggs along time to hatch i still have some hatching from 2 months ago when all the beatles died the rate of growth depends on heat so some are probley micro sized now you will be able to see some soon
