gut loading crickets

just wondering what you guys are using to gut load you crickets (if you do).... just wondering if there was a better product out there then what i am using...

I use dog food and carrots plus other vegetable or fruits once in a while. Mine live quite a long time! My trick is to keep them well hydrated and well ventilated.

What are you using? Out of commercial gutloads, I would recommend Nature Zone Cricket Total Bites. I usually just give my crickets a diet of varied high calcium greens, fruit, dog food and veggies. I don't use cricket water, they get all their water through the food.

I'm about like Linds, but I also throw in some spirulina fish flakes to add a nice vitamin content and a little nonfat powdered milk for calcium.

i have been using Flukers calcium fortifed cricket quencher and flukers high calcium cricket feed. so i was wondering i guess how good the stuff is and if there was better stuff that i should be buying...

Many of the commercial gutload and water products specify that it should not be left in the cage with reptiles in case of accidental ingestion. How much sense does it make to be feeding animals that have ingested this stuff to animals that should not ingest it? I cannot remember if Fluker's cricket products is amongst them, but a careful read of the label should let you know
