Hehe...thats one cute redeye! Say, how does he like that artificial branch vine thing? My redeyes won't touch theirs but they are in LOVE with the waterfall and the 5 inch deep pool they just ADORE swimming! You should add a deep bowl of water into that baby's tank- I am sure that he will love it! Just make sure that you have lots of plants and rocks and branches in the water since even though redeyes love swimming, the absolutely suck at it. try adding a water pool

I'd have to object to what Emily has staered about frogs swimmin'. Tree frogs, of any sub species, are not swimmers at all. As a matter of fact, they dont swim well at all, and deep water presents the frogs with a huge hazard. Water should not be deeper the shoulder length to prevent drownin'. Take this note down for each "tree frog" anyone owns. IT CAN KILL YOUR FROG.

And thats exactly why you put plants, branches, rocks, and perches in the water so that the frog cannot possibly drown, unless it wants to.

@ Mike

I think Emily pointed out in the first post that the water dish does need to have something in it for the frog to climb out on and that they do suck at swimming but I have noticed with mine aswell they do like to somewhat bath in the water dish...

and on a side note, I just saw the Malayians you sold Jordan, now I want um!! :P
