I want to inform anyone who interesting for some changes have been made with new species, new entries, name changes, synonimized names etc. for snakes and lizards

I believe that this web site is of major importance for the Herp world but i wonder if those changes are accepted by the majority of the Herp world (Herp instituts, herpetologic clubs, etc.)

It will probably be a long time before the names are commonly used... i always forget the new term for the northamerican rat snakes.

How come they didn't mention the change of all the Lampropetis sub-specifics to feminine names. Probably the biggest change since Morelia and Chondropython (or maybe Liasis to Anterasia)?

This changes are between Dec. 8 1998 and Dec. 8 1999. There are other links as well on top of that page.
