has any one experienced males grow bigger than females or the other way round????

Sure, ever seen male vs. female watersnakes? It's routine for the female Nerodia to be easily 1/3 longer at the same age and 4 times the weight/bulk of the male. It's bizarre, fed the same amount of food, the females just seem to do so much more with it...
