Two of my recently weaned female rats are having some balding problems. They are both rex coated rats, one female is much larger than the other. The smaller one just started balding after I weaned her, the other one had started beforehand. The larger female is competely bald on her sides and most of her back and haunches, but hasn't lost any anywhere else, the smaller one is still only thinning alot and her skin is pink. What I am wondering is should I pull them from the rest of the rats (I would prefer not to kill them off yet as they are not large enough for the my snakes to eat, and the one female seems to be growing to size very nicely
) or is this no cause for alarm?
