Meet Mooshoo, my tangerine honduran

Well some people aren't into "normals", but I think this guy is absolutely stunning. He was my first snake, I adopted him as an adult. He's seven years old, 5'2" long, and 650 grams.

Mooshoo attends community outreaches with me about twice a month... he's a great snake for that, he can tolerate hundreds of children handling him for hours on end and just gets a little wiggly!

No worries Nicky, I'm not easily offended. Kind of a little story behind that....

Mooshoo is a Chinese food dish, stir-fried meat and veggies served with plum sauce and a thin flour crepe (like a little tortilla). It's my favorite food in the world. I introduced my boyfriend to it and now it's his favorite food too!

I saw this snake come up for adoption at my herp society, and I had seen pics of hondurans before. I said to the adoption guy "hey is that a tangerine honduran milksnake?" and he said "yep, this is Mooshoo!!" I knew right then I had to have this snake, since he was already named after my FAVORITE FOOD!

So that's my cheesy little story for the day

Thanks for all the complements, I am totally in love with this guy!
