Eastern Indigo's Breeding Produces Eggs!!!
Hi all, here's a picture that all you Eastern Indigo fans have probably already checked out around X-mas time.

P.S. Just so everyone knows the Indigos are joint owned between myself (Mark IsBell - GONE SNAKEE!) & Kyle K. (Kunimoto Reptiles).>(

She laid 14 total & they all appear good so far. Here they all are in the box ready for the incubator:

Once (IF?) hatched, babies will most likely be held back & traded for other "high end" snakes. They are joint owned by myself & Kyle so we'll both want to keep some for ourselves as well. If we do sell any they will most likely go for $800 - $1,000 CDN each depending on availabilty & current market values. People will always have money to spend on "high end" animals, but "high end" animals can be few & far between when looking to buy sometimes. We are hoping that people will be willing to trade things that they otherwise wouldn't. Right now we are looking at a long incubation before we have to worry about any plans for babies. Don't want to count our Chickens before they hatch, so to speak. Mark I.
P.S. People have been asking how much since they saw the copulation pics, so there is quite the list of interested parties thus far.

We (Kyle & I) aquired the pair thru a friend of mine in Calgary. He had kept the pair himself for a few years already prior. Both he & his former partner had gotten pairs (he was a local breeder). I had bought all of his remaining snakes a few months prior to him deciding to "release" the Indigos, so when he decided to let go I snatched them up quick before he came to his senses. Who in their right mind keeps them right up until they are ready to breed & then sells them? Ah love is blind, he's with a chick who doesn't like snakes so he sold his entire collection (Thx Mike!). Its funny how it happened within a few months of his date finding an escaped Indigo in the dark one night, Heh Heh! The parents orginally came (pretty sure he "produced" them) from a fellow out in Victoria, B.C. area named Vic P. (can't remember, Palmetto???). I believe he was researching out there, or something? Anyhow we are so lucky to have them & even luckier to have a chance at babies! Mark I.
P.S. Hey Vanan, I still have lots of really long ones left, Thx M.I.
