You don't see the Guyana Rainbows very often. I think they are rather attractive, actually. I am not sure how different their care requirements are from Brazilians or Colombians. How much are they asking for it?

Sweet. I'd say grab and look for a mate. Since you don't see them very often on the market you might do well to breed them

I haven't seen too many for sale.... Lots of Peruvians, Colombians, Argentines and of course, the Brazilians. But very few of the Guyanans.

What typ of rainbow boa are you talking about? I'm going to presume that you are talking about E.c.crassus, also known as the Paraguayan rainbow.
If you are asking other people to tell you what is atractive or not, you probably should rethink what you are doing/getting.
I own albino, het albino, pastels,IMB ball pythons, condros, dumerils, hogg island boas and E.c.crassus and I've had a lot more than this short list.
One of my all time snakes is the E.c.crassus "Paraguayan,Guyna".
I would take them over the Brazilians anyday.
Well, Have fun, Piers

Actually, Paraguayan and Guyanese Rainbow Boas are two separate subspecies. The boas being exported from Guyana have yet to be classified. The Paraguayan RB comes from further down than Guyana.

ok I need tp see a pic of a rainbow boa and a Guyana boa I never knew that guyanas were hard to find then again it is the first time actualy talk about this species in a long time cause I was chating with reptile X and the snake he described me sounded like a columbian rainbow boa. if Guyans are as prety as some of you say then it cant be a real Guyana, simply cause I know where he is buying it from and they never sell the animals as what they realy worth. I baught a amazon boa that was suposed to be cooks I was non the wiser and did not know the difirence betwean the 2. I payed over 300 canadian for it caus they sayed it was rare. if any of you think it is to good to be true 150 can for a guyana rainbow boa tell him now so he can call there bluff oh ya all the animals that come from that pet store are from mirdo I find it highly unusual that they would have a guyana

Ok,I think that the R.Bs from Guyana areE.c.assissi.I'm not to familier with them.In the pics that I've seen they look a lot like E.c.crassus but darker, pattern not as distincted.
I may be wrong on the latin, but I still say if you are asking what is good looking maybe don't buy it. Also if it is assissi/Guyanan and it is in a petshop for that price in Canada you should be asking yourself Why so cheep, and if it's healthy can he get a mate?
Again, have fun and don't take me so harshly.
Piers

thanks Linds for the pics there, thats the snake i was talking about all right...and piers...the topic wasn't to find out if people liked the looks and thats what i was baseing my purchase on by any means...just mostly for marketing purposes...like if the majority was to think not i nice looking snake, how many peopl are gonna buy a not so nice snake...I think its a nice snake, and if he was gonna be just a pet...yea i would pic him up...i screwed up on the COST...there asking 299 and i would get it for 250....
And the top two pics that Linds posted there are the one they have not the paraguyana RB at the bottem...
