My Baby ball has never shed and it's his first time. His skin has been peeling for about 5 days. i am just wondering if I should just let him do it by himself or should I help him out. I have increased the humdity somedays by turning on the fogger and I am not sure on what to do. Any tips would be appreciated.
have you considered a humid hide? a small rubbermaid or house hold containers with lid (big enough for your snake to fit in) with a hole cut into the top or side (whatever you prefer) and some moist paper towels or moss inside is all you need. It works wonders. Before i built my rack i was using aquariums and had to use humid hides to help with shedding and always came out with a perfect shed. Give it a try if you haven't already. I wouldnt suggest 'helping' your snake shed though.. good luck and keep us posted..
