Time unfortunately ran out . . . .
Everything seemed to be fine with our first little guy. A few days ago he was even eating mealworms out of my hands. We had noticed that he was spending a lot of time in the coconut hide, but this was not all that uncommon for him. Yesterday morning my girlfriend noticed that he was hopping funny so we took him out of the tank. In a matter of hours he had completely deteriorated to the point where he was not even moving and was keeping his mouth open all of the time.
Sadly, I must report that our first little amphibian buddy, Sir Guts-a-lot, is no longer with us.
Any other ideas on what could have been the cause of this would be appreciated as we have three others, but they all seem to be doing fine and are still extremely active. (Except they didn't make any noise last night . . . . makes you kinda wonder if they know what had happened)
Matt
