cornsnake/kingsnake

jus wonderin about corn snake/kingsnake interbreeding. Do the hatchlings hav a tendency to eat its brothers and sisters because of its kingsnake parent?

Not nessicarily, but it is in their nature (king snake blood). Snakes are most likely to cannibalize one another when they are just hatchlings though so irreguardless of species it is best to keep all specimens seperate. Snakes other than kings have been known to be cannibals (Most recent freak occurrence I heard was a friends male Jungle Carpet Python was consumed by it's female mate & was my buddy POed!). Better safe than sorry, plus it makes it much easier to monitor the individual specimens for feeding etc. when they are kept seperate. Mark IsBell - GONE SNAKEE!
