Okay, is this rite?
Alright, my snakes aren't eating! I know this is a common problem an all, but im wodnering if they could be fasting cuz of cold weather??? im not 4 sure, so just thought that i would ask! Lemme know plz! Thanx!

I have two ball pythons & a boa. They have refused food only twice but its been like a couple weeks. The temperatures are like 80-90 degrees.

This may or not be a problem, as this is normal for the winter season. However I would expect they would get getting out of brumation rather then going into it?

yeah i know...thats why am i asking cuz im all confused!?!?!?! lol, well I will just keep tryin, maybe they'll catch on. One of them did curl around its food an everything, but then it just left it there!?!!

Don't worry bout it JJ, give them a few weeks, its warming up around here finally  . The michigan weather will snap them out of it.

My BP's are the same right now, I tried to offer a live fuzzy a couple nights ago and the BP just curled up around the fuzzy. Fuzzy thought is was great, what a heck of pillow. Fuzzy fell asleep leaning against the BP..I would have preferred the BP to chow down but I guess I will try again on the weekend.

The BP are young. I am aware that a fuzzy is too small of a food item. It was put in to initiate a feeding response. The F/T Adult mouse was waiting. No luck at that time, I will be trying a live rat pup today.we'll see if that helps...

My vet said that they will be fine as long as they do not lose visable body weight. My Dumerills has gone 4 months between meals. Took him to the vet and she said no big deal.

I the wild they dont grab a meal every week on the dot they get spurts of food and then no food snakes can go for a long time up to a year (for large adults in certain conditions) without food cold blooded creatures dont require the food warm bloods do croc's eat like every 8 months in the wild how ever it is a huge meal
