A question about BRB'S

with brb's people always say dont let the cage get over 83 degrees what if you give them a thermal gradiant like 68 degrees to 90 degrees would the just lay in the hot spot till they are dead or what it seems to me that if you provide 90 degrees but let the snake cool down if it wants it will be fine but some caresheets seem to say otherwise what's up with that

Just because a snake has a temperature range, doesn't mean the highs and lows are okay. If a snake has a high of 100F and a low of 20F, it isn't good. Snakes don't always know that they are too hot until they get burned, otherwise no snakes would be burned from lying on hot rocks.
A temperature gradient of 75-85F is good for a BRB.

Country:
i have found taht my brbs seem to like hot temps, and the hot area can often get to 90 and they will be completely content.

as long as they have somewhere cooler to go, they will be ok. Many care sheets saw brbs hot spots should be at 85 (and that absolutely fine).....but i give mine about a 90 hot spot because they seem to like it, and the cage size is adequate to do that

good luck!

I figured that as long as you allow them to cool and raise there body temp they would be fine to a certain extent I know snakes can burn themselves but at 90 there not going to get burned and at 68 they wont freeze to death unless they dont go near the hot spot ever i talked to jeff flavelle he explained that at over 87 for babys cause problems
