Roxy, not a reptile anymore

LOL
Roxy lives in our dining room. She's more like a dog now than a reptile. We adopted her from Reptile Rescue Canada, shortly after getting my first herps, the leopard geckos. I have always been one for adopting and when I found out you could adopt reptiles I was all over Roxy!

Roxy si 6 years old, almost 5 and a half feet and growing and shedding constantly! She was living in a 3 by 4 cage with no windows, and NO branches to climb when we got her. Needless to say, she has wasted no time in perfecting her climbing in the last two years.

lol

Spoiled? haha worse than that.

I prefer to stick to Roxy's diet exactly at all time. Even her "treats" from me that I hand feed her are either piece of collard greens, or squash...lol But recently my roomate has started sneaking (yes sneaking!) Roxy small pieces of wheat bread. Once or twice per week..I told her no more than once a week, a tiny piece because it's not really the best thing. Well Roxy has picked up on this, and now when my roomate walks by her cage, she actually BEGS for bread, and taps her head and feet on her plexi- windows. So now it's even harder for me to get my roomate to cut down on the bread treats!

A Pig! She'll eat up to 6-7 BOWLS full of food in the hottest of summer months. Each bowl is about 2-3 cups!!!
