While they do look cool. That would be like breeding a Surinam to a central American BCI. While it has been done and could be done. Why waste the Emerald efforts on an amazon? I'm sure in the wild if an emerald was hard up it would mate with an Amazon. I'm just not a big fan of hybrids.

Don't get me wrong here, I have never been a fan of Hybrids.
I'm just tired of wasting my breath trying to explain to people why they shouldn't hybridize ANYTHING so i would rather learn about it to see if i can figure out why people do it.

I should have clarified that in the post. Thanks ED

Nobody has been able to produce ATB/ETB hybrids as of yet in captivity........all the hybrid babies out there have been from WC animals.......there are a few breeders in the states who are working on this .......maybe some day soon we will have cbb babies

Awesome looking animals

Are you sure about that..? Reason i ask is becuase i checked out a site called Dr Frankensteins Creations or something like that, And they had some on there. I didn't read any of the literature on them as i was on my way to bed.
The Borneo X Balls look pretty wild too eh...?

Yea I am almost 100% sure about this........we have had this convo on Corallus.com . Most of the Corallus breeders post on that forum and they have had several threads about this very same thing and all say that no one has been able to breed the hybrid in captivity......

I for one cant wait til they do

Thats the same forum........and just because there are pics doesnt mean they have been breed in captivity...........

Maybe u should read the text , not just look at pics and assume that those babies came from a captive breeding.....

Ur best bet is to ask Danny himself ( the one whos pics those are) and go to the forum and do a search on hybrids........

Um actually there guy the beginning post in this thread asked if someone was working with them. I answered yes and that they are on corallus.com No one said anyhting about CB but you.

And just FYI my post was in good humour, not a condecending manner as yours clearly is.

Regardless of that post....this guys website wording would lead a reader to beleive he produced them and was producing more in the "Y2K"
http://www.corallus.com/urbanjungles/hybrids.html

Although they may in fact be WC.
Just giving the thread starter the information they requested.

I am just making sure that there is no way this can be misrepresented.......ur post after mine made it seem like u had found a link where these hybrids had been bred in captivity, since in my post thats what I was talking about...........and u made it seem that I had no idea what I was saying........ so if u just wanted to give ur input then u should not have directed ur post to me.....
