Oh My God I Just Bought My Very First Boa I'm So Excited!!!
I just sent payment for a little male BCI from Inner City Reptiles!! YEAH!! He'll arrive this weekend!! I tried to attach pics, but it say the file isn't a gif or jpg, so I can't (it's a bitmap)
If you want to see him, *please* go look at the boa classifieds on that other snake site. He's on page three all the way at the bottom, under "1ft Male Baby Columbian Boa - $185 (Shipped)" Please tell me what you think, I want opinions!! I actually paid $150 shipped.

Ummm All depends on your area. By me you can't even get someone to look at a Boa if over $85. maybe your area has a high market demand?
Also 1' seems kinda on the tiny side for a Boa. My clutches so far the avg has been 16-18". Again may just have been my luck.

Nice looking snake. $150.00 shipped is not bad. They go for $125.00 here in the local shops. As for the size, 1ft is probably a typo from recycling ad text or something. If you compare him to the linolium tile, which I believe standard tile is 1ft square, he looks to be about 2.5ft. Here's a pic of him for you.

I thought the 1ft thing was a typo, too, judging by the tile size, but I just talked to them on the phone and they said about a foot. *shrug* 2.5 is fine with me. As far as 1ft being small...I've seen several ads from different breeders on that other site that show pics of *very* small baby boas. I'm not worried, he'll be up to size in no time, I'm sure
I think he has great color...*very* red tail and hardly any speckles!! Thanks for posting the pic of him, btw!

No matter where you are that is a good price in my books if shipping is included. I realize your talking US funds but I still think if shipping is included that is fair. To get some shipped to NB from ON its over a $100. BC is $140. And Columbians around here are normally $200. So I think you did good. This is all cdn funds of course I'm talking about.
Cheers,
Trevor
