Well, I got tagged

Hey folks ,

Well it's been 10 days since I brought home the Ball Pythons. I guess they must have been happy to see me...when offered a couple of Fuzzies. The male just had to re-introduce himself..teeth first..oh well..I have since picked up a couple of new tanks andhave separated the pair into their own tanks..damn that means I have an empty tank right now..hmm well that's no good.gonna have to fix that problem...

At least the little guys are eating...

LOL i remember my first time getting tagged it was by my 4ft' Boa once on the neck and then two secs later a big kiss on the lips i was bleeding like no tomorrow. And never try to take food away from your BP even when hes at the complete other end of the tank and looks like he can't reach you. Also learnt that the hard way.LOL.

Oh well, live and learn. Thanks for the heads up on food removal, right now I am feeding in the tank on newspaper until I feel confident that they are eating regularly then I will move to tub feeding. I separated them yesterday and set up two new tanks, one for each. A pair of twenties..both seem to enjoy their new homes.

I've only been bit once, that was the second feeding for my snake. I fed her pinkies out of my hand. I held it by the tail and WHACK, before I knew it she was clamped onto my fingers. Oh well, 'Live and Learn' just like you said eh?

I've been bitten quite a few times. Mostly by wild garters, but three or four times by my cali. She can be so moody, but that's what I love about her!

I have been bitten plenty of times by my baby corn snakes but so far my Ball and my Spotted haven't tagged me.

You have a spotted? Where did you get it? Anyways, most people don't realize they have been bitten until afterwards...But I've heard that Kingsnakes make you bleed like a mother.

Themadhatter Almost the same thing happened to me, only she grabbed my thumb instead of the pinkie and then constricted around it and wouldnt let go. That was the first and last time I tried feeding her by hand, hehe
