...Yea, it was kinda late getting home after meeting up with the previous owner, I'll get one as soon as I can tomorrow. Nice lil bugger ya got as well...
...Thanks Rach, all it took was a month. heh. I want a Siamese that guy is advertising on KS but he never replies to his emails so.. I guess another day.. by the way. Its a male.
...Yea, all mine. I got into them first off when my dad got me a
Spec. when I was 12ish. After that I got a couple more specs but wasn't a full blown croc enthusiast until I was about 16. I wanted to work with something that not many people were working with
And just jumped about a bit from turtles to monitors to chameleons and then it just clicked that only a handful of people actually work with crocodilians so I got my state permit for the gators and zoning (for the guys I have in town) and started keeping them.
My parents dont see it as a surprise because most of my family keeps exotics ofsome sort.
.. I'm also largly into Turtles(being thats what started my interest in the hobby), Hots(which I just got out of for awhile), Falconry, med/large carnivores and local birds.

Just curious but where and how do you plan on keeping your nile croc when it is fully grown? Outdoors or will you be able to contruct a indoor enclosure?

Your mum's little tiger is sweet! I just checked out the pics in the gallery. Do you guys own a zoo or is it a private collection?

...The zoning was easy. All I had to do was call up city hall and tell them I wanted a zoning. They said ok, Mike(Local game warden) came over with the paper work and checked the place out. The state permits required alot of time an effort and blood work, heh. Sad thing is its only covering the gators...
To get most of the permits here is to show your knowledge (sometimes testing) and housings for the animals. From the knowledge I may have, it must be from my non-social lifesyle, heh.. I heard NY cracked down hard on the herp keepers.
... When he gets bigger I doubt Ill throw him in with the pr. being hes a male so I'll most likely dig another hole in my uncles field.
What we do is put up Therma-sheds over the ponds like several weeks before winter and down a week or so after spring... Its getting time.
We are private keepers. Though I want to open a park up, I some how think it will only stay a dream..
I want to get a Mnt. Lion.. How does the one you own handle?
Pretty basic comparing to Bobcats?

Cool. I don't own that cougar. It is just an animal I have worked with in the past... lets just say he likes to play rough a little bit.
From my limited experience with big cats I have found that their personalities can vary alot from individual to individual.
I saw an adult cougar for sale on the exotics section of the "kingsnake" website.
