Herpstat 2

I am using a Heat Pad set at 95, with CHE at 85. Also have small watt UVA. The mat and CHE are in InkBird.

Cool side: 78/60%
Hot side: 85/60%

Hot side basking is 88-90 with heat gun.

It’s a 40 gallon EXO Terra glass. Wish it was PVC but it’s not. The tops are all Tim foiled except for where the domes are.

Bought a Herpstat 2 Wi-Fi, excited. Now here is my question…

Hook it to CHe and Mat using dimming and call it a day.

Or use a halogen during the day and CHe at night. Have heard halogen is best for the IR A and B, which CHe doesn’t have.

Thoughts or am I splitting hairs?

Also having issues figuring out how to use Herpstat with 2 domes for one to be on a day, then shut off when night time CHE goes on at night. Any tips?
