My New Gray Banded Kingsnake
Well here she is!
I picker her on Sunday and she was at the peak of her shed cycle so put her into quarantine and just waited until she shed.
Last night she finally shed and I snapped some pics.
Before the pics I weighed, measured and probed her. She is 38" and 299g.
Not every day you get to adopt one of these guys, or make it your first kingsnake for that matter.
Cheers,
Trevor

Thanks guys!
Crimsonking: You know anyone with a male they can't keep any more? Ha ha, hey it happend once right. Some day I'll get her a bo. I have too much corn work laid out for me in my future. That and I don't have plentiful supply of feeder anoles on hand just in case. Someday though. I don't know of anyone in NB who is working with them so I would sure like to be the first.
Cheers,
Trevor

She looks great! You should get her a mate though... I know you won't regret it.

Yeah, even if you pay a little--look at it this way--Whatever you pay for the male is really what you paid for the PAIR! (anything to justify a snake purchaseLOL!) I'm male heavy but I'm gonna work 'em in this year. Good luck.
