Long time reader, first time poster
Hi Guys!
I have been getting tons of useful information from you guys for a couple of months, but I haven't intoduced myself yet.
I have a young ball python. He is my first and I am Hooked!!!! If I can convince my husband that he really does like snakes, I will have a house full! I doubt that will be anytime soon since I had to wait for my husband to go out of town so that I could buy the one I have!!!!
I would like to thank everyone for all of the information I have received just from browsing thru other people's posts. I think I would have pulled my hair out the last couple of months!
This is is my favorite website. I am addicted!!!!!

Hi Nellie and welcome to the group
Glad you finally decided to join us and congratulations on your bp! I too have a mate that's not crazy about reptiles and gives me a bit of a hard time about it.... It stinks but I still get my animals!!! LOL! In fact, he still doesn't know that I have 2 more snakes on the way and not just one!!!

Welcome nellie. I suggest letting your hubby handle your bp to get him used to snakes, also keep talking about having more snakes so he gets used to the idea, then buy more enclosures, then take him along with ya on your next snake purchase. Thats what katey did to me (I wasn't interested in snakes as pets back then, they were just another creature) and now we're up to 17 snakes and *I* want more. I think it also helped that she had me help with the feeding and photographing of her first snake, (also a ball python).
