Western Hognose Enclosure setup questions
Hi! I’m planning to get a western hognose snake soon and wanted to confirm a few things with experienced keepers. I read that UVB light is a good benefit for hognose snakes, so I bought an 18 inch T8 light but I can’t figure a way to mount it inside the cage D: I heard the mesh top blocks a lot of UV light so I’m worried. Should I return the T8 and buy a T5 to put on top the cage? Would that be enough UV light for a snake?
I’m not getting the snake for a while but I want everything to be perfect in case one becomes available! I want to be ready! Please help!
