Take a look>>>>>>>
Hi, i am very new here. I found that it's many levels better than the previous forums. It has smart menus and very clever small things that make the difference! This bci is guyana right?

There are no Guyanese BCI, only BCC. As for pinpointing the locality of a BCI based on appearance, it's next to impossible. But regardless, very cute little snake you have there Oh... and welcome to the site! Glad you enjoy it

bci local????
hello, by looking at the photo, my first impression is that the boa in the picture looks to me like one of the Caye island boa,s alot of insular boa's along the cayes off the Belize's shore line look quite simular to the boa in the picture, there are alot of caye calkers being produced in the state s right now and are selling for really low prices, as low as 100 U.S. dollars each, shame because I personally think they are worth more, Where did you get this boa from? I think linds is very knowledgable about boa's but I would have to disagree with her statement that it is next to impossible to determine the local of a boa based upon apparence because all insular boa's from the caye islands off of Belize all share similiar charactoristics that definately seperate them from other boa constrictor subspecies.
check out the similiar saddle patterns in my caye calker bci
again simuliar pattern and color in this Ambergris caye bci
and heres a representative from Caye Chapel
three representatives of Caye b.C.I.'s All from different Localities but very similiar apparences, mainly due to habitat and environmental conditions most insular boa share similiar charactoristics in color and pattern, and since caye Caulkers are now widely represented in the pet trade today, it may be possible what you have there is a Caye Caulker B.C. I. , but I would have to see more pictures of it first before i say this with absolute certainty,
mike

Yeah! I must agree with you. It's a greyish colombian with a nica redish tail.
