Hide suggestions and where to buy them for an adult CornSnake?
Hello everyone! I want to buy a hide for my corn snake, Dragon, online but I don't know wether or not Dragon would fit in them. I don't want to spend too much money but I do want something that looks naturally and attractive. He's around 3&1/2 ft. Long and I'm guessing he's about 2 years old. If you have an adult cornsnake hide, can you give me a link or tell me what's the products name? Thanks. 😊

Hey!
Maybe this isn't quite what you are looking for, but I use an upside-down flower pot with a few rocks to prop up a side for my corn snake to slither under. You can find one at a gardening store if you don't have one lying around.

As a variation on a theme by Veronica, my kingsnake's favorite hide is an upside-down terracotta saucer. It came with a chip out of it that's the perfect size for a snake entrance. Found it at a local store. It was cheap to begin with and cheaper because it was broken, perfectly broken.

Living on a lake, I found a couple of turtle shells that work great, and you can't get much more "natural" than that. It's the favorite hide for one of my young adult BRBs. If you don't live on a lake, you might try ebay. Here's one to consider. Just a thought...

Never thought to use a flower pot for a hide, thanks for the idea! Does the pot look natural?

I've made a more naturalistic set up for my corn snake, so it looks a lot like a garden scene!

I didn't know turtles left behind completely empty shells, I'll definitely have to look into this. (Though I think that 14-inch shell might be a bit too big for my tank lol)

When an aquatic turtle dies, it leaves behind complete shells. Box turtles leave behind shells in two pieces because the top half (the carapace) and the bottom half (the "plastron) are not attached like they are with most aquatic turtles. The do make very cool hids that my snakes seem to like.
