I'd love to spend a lot of time in nature on the steppes and at the Singing Dunes, and also see Almaty, the Aral Sea and sites along the Silk Road.
I know it's a completely different country, but I spent two weeks in Mongolia a few years ago (9 days and 8 nights of those on a horseback caravan through the steppes, mountains and forests), and although I know Mongolia isn't considered part of Central Asia, the trip made me want to see Central Asia.
Where do you live there, and what do you recommend seeing in Kazakhstan?
