Field Herping 2018
I spent most of last spring, summer and fall doing some serious field herping. Here are just a few pictures from my numerous trips! The only snake I had hoped to find, but didn't, was the elusive Eastern Hognose. Hoping I will find one this upcoming season!

Great finds. I love how the garters look up there...they generally are pretty bland looking down here.
Best of luck with the hognose! Such a neat species to observe in the wild. I saw a few back in 2017, but haven't seen any since. I'm hoping to rack up a couple sightings this year.

Yup..a hatchling and a juvenile...I've also seen an adult female laying eggs...
