Help me...something irritates my Womas skin

Maybe you can help me, since like 4 weeks my Woma python has something irritating a spot behind his head. He constantly rubs it against corners and equipment in his tank.

He has no mites and its also no fungal infection. Its just like something irritated him there and he keeps rubbing the same spot. The skin there is dry and there is no wound, but he scratched of his scales there. For me it appears something irritated him and he started scratching and now doesnt stop, because he lost some scales there.

What can i do that he stops this behavior?
