Re: Gopher Snake

Hi Kailey-Welcome to the forum. Gopher snakes are great to keep but I think it would be best to release the wild animal and buy a captive bred snake. I have a couple of bull snakes and I love them.

Re: Gopher Snake

Yes, I hear wild caught ones do not thrive as well as their domesticated counter-parts in an enclosed habitat. Maybe they already know that the world is a very big placed and feel trapped when they get caught. Whereas their domesticated counter-parts have been living their whole life in the matrix habitat.
