One last hurrah
It's kinda bittersweet but this is the last snake I'll be adding to my collection. I don't see many of these around so if anybody has any special tips on keeping BCO I'd appreciate it. She'll be shipping to me a week from tomorrow. Can't wait to get this one home.

Re: One last hurrah
What? You're getting a relatively rare and beautiful snake and don't plan to pair and breed her later down the road? You're killing me Smalls.

Re: One last hurrah
Thanks all. I feel like I finally have the right amount of animals (11) and enough diversity in the collection to be content. Sure I wish I could get a few more dream snakes but I feel like I've found my sweet spot where it's still fun and not too much like work. Now I can work on upgrading enclosures as needed and enjoying watching all the critters grow and thrive.

Re: One last hurrah
Knowing and limiting yourself the correct number of animals for you and your lifestyle demonstrates discipline which is a sign of maturity. I have limited myself to five snakes (currently have four) simply because I have so many other commitments in my life and I want to keep it to a number where I can give them the proper care and attention.

Re: One last hurrah
This cutie pie arrived today. She's not the one I posted previously though. After careful thought and consideration I decided I liked the markings on this girl better. My GF and son agreed so it was unanimous. We're going to call her Xena.

Re: One last hurrah
Congrats El Ziggy, and welcome to the forum, Xena. BCO are great, perhaps I'll have room for my own in the future.
