Lightbulb What type of tree is good for a snake habitat?

Hello!

So, I have an Australian carpet python that is a little over 9 feet right now. I've had him about 8 years. I recently put him in a custom wire mesh cage that stands a little over 6 ft tall and is about 2.5-3 ft wide on each side. So it's fairly big. I was wanting to put a tree or something in there that he could climb on but the tree I purchased from the nursery didn't seem to last long after I put it in there. It was an indoor tree, but I think with the constant moving, it stressed the tree out and killed it. Does anyone know of any good trees that I could put in there? I've always just done big branches and such, but he really liked the tree. Or any other suggestions for such a large snake would be great. lol. Thanks!

It depends on trees you can get. Pine is toxic for snakes for sure.
