Fake plants that aren't marketed for reptiles?

I have a number of craft stores in my area that have fake plants of all varieties for much cheaper than the pet stores meager selections. Is there anything I should watch put for with these products before getting something for my pets?

I'm unaware of any allergic reaction to plastic or silk plants. I have both kinds in a lot of my cages and I've seen no issues on the snakes whatever.

Perfect, thanks. I couldn't think of any real difference between the types but I just wanted to be sure

Craft stuff sometimes will have a wire sticking out so keep an eye out for that. But reptile decor quality control isn't exactly that great either so there is likely 0 difference.

The only difference I can think of is, you will be paying a lot more for stuff marketed to reptiles. Those damn companies must think we're stupid. Lol, but seriously be cautious of what your getting and always look to different sellers even if it is not marketed to reptiles in particular.

You also might want to check out your local Goodwill stores. You can get loads of the same plastic or silk plans for a couple of dollars. I simply give them a good washing before I put them into my enclosures.
