Hello! 😁

Hello! I️ am new to this forum, and new to forums in general so forgive me if I️ come across like a complete doof. I️ joined because I️ have a great passion for snakes and want to learn everything I️ can about them. Hopefully, soon, I️ will be getting my first and I️ am SO EXCITED!!! 😁😁😁 I️ want a Russian Rat Snake (Elaphe Schrenckii), but sadly can’t seem to find any available ☹️ Does anyone know of a realiable breader of them??? Also, I️ know they’re great feeders but do you think I️ should still get an established juveline over a hatchling??? Thanks in advance everyone!

Re: Hello! 😁

That's awesome, happy to have you on board . Russian rats are an absolutely great choice, but I am afraid your going to have some trouble finding one. Attend all of the reptile expos and shows, and make sure you continue to check online.

Re: Hello! 😁

Welcome! And Russian Rat is a good choice. I so want one myself. When I have the room and I know I can keep them cool enough in the summer. Gets way too hot around here.
