Burmise,
Shows don't just come to town or happen. It takes some one like PCPC or a large breeder/dealer to organize one. I tell you what you organize one and all 100 herpers from all three Maritime Provinces will come. JK My point is that there just are not enough people looking for herps in Atlantic Canada. Combined we still don't have the population on Quebec or Ontario. Low population means low demand which means low supply. Things in NB are so bad with out an official herp society doing all it can to promote the hobby that I had a friend in Fredericton last year hatch out a clutch of anery het for lavender and even though I bought three my self alone he is still stuck with some of them. If you can't sell a clutch of corns in Atlantic Canada then it is hard to imagine you'll do much better at a show. I will say this though a show brings the herps to the public. With the right location and the right amount of advertising it could work. But like I said who will sponsor it? I think Boa Mania is a prime candidate!
Cheers,
Trevor

I say if you build it they will come rent a place for the weekendset up some tabels and advertise it just tu see what will happen. If it grows into somthing then great if not then bumer but at least you will have tryed. But first contact so of the lagre breeders and see what they think and if they would help spponser such and event.
