Snake terrarium

Hello, I’m Alexis. I’m new here. Im getting my first snake for Christmas, most likely earlier, from my boyfriend. He already got the lil guys home and it’s a table terrarium? It has sliding doors in front, it’s glass and of course, we’re going to make sure he has everything to make his home super comfortable and the necessities. I was wanting to add live plants in his home but I’m not sure how I’d manage to keep them alive. Where it’s glass, the bottom doesn’t dip down and it’s just flat, there’s no way I’d be able to make a drainage hole for the plants and I’m just not entirely sure how to go about it. Any advice is welcome, just please don’t be rude. Honestly wanting to learn everything there is to know before getting him. Thanks so much guys
