Pure bull - Pituophis catenifer sayi
You guys know I'm a sucker for locality snakes and I've wanted a pit - bull specifically - for ages. Love their size and attitude.
How then could I pass this up - 'Kingsville Red' bull snake. CB16 and full of bluff and bluster - a real character .
Store photo for now - will go and pick it up when he's not deep in shed.

You guys will have to keep updates on your bulls. They've found there way onto my possibility list for a last addition.

Re: Pure bull - Pituophis catenifer sayi
I kind of like the reds but I don't have the space to include them. Aside from acquiring dark kankakees or the Indiana side of the border "black bulls" to breed I am thinking of a Forks Line gopher because except for the supers most are minimal yellow with striking patterns. I can't resist one of the less expensive interesting patterned ones they have numerous extras of in the attempt to make the supers.

Yeah you guys are lucky over there as you can access some really need localities. Pits are surpassingly difficult to source in the UK - not super rare but you have to put some effort into finding them.

Gorgeous bull, Danny. A lot of the folks over here would assume that one to be from the "tiger" line of bulls-red influenced with blotches and saddles that have a very signature look. Any info on this?

It was indeed sold as a Kingsville red tiger - not much I can add to specific lineage details but I will do some digging. Over here they're pretty much unheard of so can't imagine there are too many breeders

I'd say that's exactly what it is.

Thanks Tsu. I saw the store photos and knew I just had to go and see it. He was deep in blue but even then he was so bright - can't wait to see him freshly shed.
I'll be picking him up some point during the week and will spam plenty of photos
