Hi everyone.

Hey everybody, I'm a new reptile keeper but long time fish keeper, I recently bought a small ball python who quickly acclimated to his/her new home, eating well and not pacing the enclosure or acting stressed. I've always liked snakes but as the most common snakes where I live are copperheads and timber rattlesnakes it's much more difficult for me to pick up my bp if it goes into strike position, learned fear I guess.

I've joined the forums to get some advice on my next steps in this hobby as I'm hooked and am thinking of getting an atb sometime in the future.

Re: Hi everyone.

Welcome. An atb is quite a step up from a ball python.
