Help! Odd scales?

So my new ball python came in and he has some odd looking scales on his face. At first I assumed he still needed to shed them, but I've had him for 3 weeks now and they haven't changed. I don't think it looks like scale rot, but I'm not very experienced so I don't really know. The scales look dry and they are dull and wrinkly. He doesn't seem bothered by them as he eats perfectly well, but it still worries me. Any ideas?

Reminded me of a blister that had deflated, so I did some searching...vesicular dermatitis perhaps?

It could be a remnant of blister disease though personally I have never seen a snake with the blisters forming on the head alone. Deflated blisters and a certain superficial fungal infection can look a little alike though, you could carefully clean it with hydrogen peroxide and see if starts to clear up with shedding. If it does not change you could consider a vet visit in the future. Also, are there still scales there? It almost looks like skin without scales but that could be the picture.

He still has scales, they just aren't normal looking. I'll do more research and try to take him to the vet. Thanks.
