Re: Please Help: What to look for in Burmese Hatchling?
Hold the snake, make sure it feels strong and looks alert. Is it able to support a good length of its own body.
Eyes clear, no mucus around the nose and mouth. No old shed (not necessarily a problem in itself but indicates possibly it has not been kept too well).
Speak to the breeder, small talk stuff - ask about their interest in the hobby etc and get a feeling for whether you trust them.
I'm going to be there so happy to drop you a pm with my number and if you want a second pair of eyes drop me a text and if I'm free I'll come and have a look.
