Stuck shed help

It finally happened... One of my snakes got a stuck shed. I've already corrected the husbandry issue that caused this (ambient humidity was OK, but it was really dry in her hide where she spends most of her time). She's a ball python. I've already soaked her and applied some of that shed-ex stuff. Is there anything else that might help? Also, how long should I wait before a vet visit is required? The stuck shed is behind her head and down the top of her back for about 4 inches.

Re: Stuck shed help

Just soak her in some warm water for a few minutes. Then get a damp cloth and gently "wipe" the shed off. Some people use one of those rubber finger cots for sifting paper to help with the eye caps.

Re: Stuck shed help

An hour long soak did the trick .-. Came off really easily afterwards.
