Talking Aspen
today i went to the reptile house/ animal allsorts and got some food for my cornsnake.......walkin along I saw some aspen bedding and i remember everyone on this site going on about how good it was...so i got a 2 bags of it...and it is the best stuff EVER!!..


so i'd like to say thanks to eveyone for persuading people how good it was...

*that sounds really sad.*

I did just notice that you only have one snake, so options are lot greater. You could actually get some expensive bedding. Gets tough when the collection gets HUGE!

I find aspen harder to maintain humidity.

I like using aspen in my snake enclosures, makes cleaning up so easy. It is harder to maintain humidity, so I have a corner with sphagnum moss that's always kept moist to maintain humidity. I love the stuff! Not the most appealing to the eyes but I think it looks better than newspaper or papertowels. What I want to try next is cypress mulch.
