What can be kept in this cage?

I recently acquired this open air screen cage. It is 36inches long, 18inches wide,and 18inches tall. Basically the equivalent of a 40gallon breeder. I literally have no clue what I could keep in this cage, especially since I live in the basement where the temps are pretty cool. Any suggestions?

I'm not real keen on screen cages for snakes. Seems like a sure fire trip to having a really rubbed nose. Screen cages are typically used for chameleons. IDK whether that would appeal to you.

Wouldn't work for a cham as they need height not length. Tricky one as humidity and temperature to a lesser extent will be difficult to control...

Well I mean, its a screen box you could just rotate it.

Wouldn't a chameleon need a bigger cage though? Not to mention I'd have a lot of trouble keeping good humidity levels and temp.

A lot of chams are kept in screens but they need much bigger cages, could work for a baby cham until it grows up but you still have heating and humidity problems. Also I believe your basement gets pretty cold which would make heating that quite the nightmare.

Yeah, especially in winter heating would be a nightmare. I may just go with a Degu pair or modify the cage to fit acrylic panels.
