Thanks. Those 2 are Southerns, A c contortrix. most of what you find in GA are integrades unless you go to the extremem northern range or southen range where you can find true nothern and true southerns.

Yes, Precisions are all I use for Venomous. I elevate themlike that so that I can access the electricals and i can also see very well if anythin is under there and if a snake goes nuts, I can let it crawl under there till it calms down and i still have plenty of room to manage them safely.

That particular EDB I have raised up since a worm. He is from the Atlanta Zoo and hands down one of the prettiest I have seen. The pics do not do him justice.

Man! I have to say, after looking at the setup of your hot room, you're one of the most responsible hot handlers I've known. Good job mate! We need people like you to show us the right way. Love how you got all the hooks and hemostats setup on the wall. Definitely something I'll keep in mind. Oh, and that the fact that ur cages are raised and you can see another bottom.

And, Damn! That's a huge pygmy!!

That pyg eats rat pups! Got him from Mari Snipes last year.

OK, yeah, i have nothing better to do. I labeled stuff.

What you don't see in this pic:

- Envenomation Kit (protocols, personal medical history, Epinephrine, H1 & H2 blockers, Ace bandage, Extractor, Emergency numbers and contacts)

- Smoke detector

- Fire extinguisher

- hooks around room never more than 4 feet away

- holding bins

- Meds (of course)

- laptop

- all vents and cracks are sealed

- door is sealed on bottom and has a good lock

- doors and windows have warnings and door has list of Hot Room Rules

- only sitting item is a stool so they cannot hide in it

- window is sealed and covered

- Panic button outside door at a level that I can activate it while crawling

- hooks and flashlight located outside door as well in case of an emergency

That is about all I can think of without going down there and looking.

Very, very cool! I love the layout and the way everything is so neatly organized. I love the ceiling fan! I just put one in my room on Wed.
Cheers,
Trevor
